Being founded with 8 employees and 5 vehicles in 1984, TAKAKURA CORPORATION has operated today with the business motto of “Trustworthy, sincerity and accuracy.” We greatly appreciate the valuable customers’ guidance and support.
In 1990, Tanoura Branch was set up as the first base located in Tanoura (Kitakyushu-shi), and in 1994, Shin-Moji Branch in Shin-Moji and Fukuoka Branch in Hakozaki-Futou (Hakozaki Wharf), which is a central positon in Hakata Port, the logistics base of western Japan, were established in succession.
Now it is on the next stage we have to tackle the international logistics through development of interregional transport system via land-sea-and-air combined services and through the Foreign Access Zone (import promotion area) initiative.
We are surrounded with the severe transportation industry situation and it is imperative to consider what the new logistics should be in a human-friendly and eco-friendly society.
